Christine Monahan is a senior health policy analyst at the Center on Health Insurance Reforms within the Georgetown University Health Policy Institute. She focuses on state and federal implementation of health insurance exchanges, and also conducts research on regulation of private health insurance.
Before joining the Center, Christine worked as a Health Policy Advisor at the National Partnership for Women & Families. In her role at the National Partnership, Christine led advocacy work on implementation of the health insurance reforms and nondiscrimination provisions in the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Christine's portfolio also included health information technology, with a focus on meaningful use, and delivery and payment system reforms.
Christine graduated summa cum laude from Connecticut College in 2007.
