On Thursday, November 6, 2025 Georgetown University’s Center on Health Insurance Reforms (CHIR) held a webinar which explored how standards of care for people with diabetes are translated into insurance coverage — and where gaps remain. 

Speakers included:   

  • Kyle Banks, Founder of Kyler Cares Foundation  
  • Dr. Osagie Ebekozien, Chief Quality Officer for the American Diabetes Association  
  • Heather Foster, Vice President for Marketplace Policy at the Association for Community Affiliated Plans 
  • Amy Killelea, JD, Assistant Research Professor at Georgetown University’s CHIR
