Rachel Schwab is an Assistant Research Professor at the Georgetown University Health Policy Institute’s Center on Health Insurance Reforms. Her current research focuses on private health insurance and the impact of state and federal policy on coverage quality and access, with an emphasis on the state health insurance exchanges.

Prior to her position at CHIR, Rachel worked at the Guttmacher Institute, where she conducted research on reproductive health care and access to family planning services. She has previously worked at the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
